This is a vintage children's board book titled The Big Shoe Book, featuring original rhymes by Virginia Brody and illustrations by Ottilie Foy. It was first published in 1956 by Harvey House and later by McGraw-Hill, Inc.

The book is distinctly die-cut in the shape of a high-top boot, drawing on the motif of the "little old woman who lived in a shoe" nursery rhyme. It features:
•Plastic comb binding and thick cardboard pages, making it a durable children's book.
•Colorful illustrations on its 20 to 24 pages.
•A design that includes holes for a shoelace, allowing children to practice shoe-tying skills.

For age, this book is in pretty darn good shape - there is obvious wear to outer covers and edges as seen in pictures. Light marks on inside. Some wear to spiral binding. No shoelace comes with book but could easily add one for shoe tying practice!
