Original M47s are becoming increasingly scarce year by year, and it has become difficult to find ones in good sizes.
This is an early M47 with a hidden fly front top button, making it a very rare item.
The ink of the stamp is faded, so the year of manufacture cannot be determined, but because it is a hidden fly type, I believe it is from 1950-1952.
The fabric is thick cotton twill.
Some of the buttons on the side flaps are cracked, but I don't think it will affect use.
