The narrative is an inspiring story of a very young lady’s grit, perseverance and success as an international fashion model in the 1970s and 1980s. With her parents’ and mentors’ guidance, blessings and moral support, Yelitza’s career took off in April of 1973. She was signed-up with the Wilhelmina modeling agency, photographed by renowned fashion photographers and featured in international fashion magazines, ad campaigns and television commercials in New York, London, Paris and Milan. Over the course of 25 years Yelitza traveled around the world over two dozen times forging friendships with an eclectic collection of fascinating and accomplished personalities from all walks of life.
