This coal is from the stone harbor beach in New Jersey. This coal is from 100 years ago from ships that used steam power to get across the ocean. It then would fall off the boat and be at sea until it washes up. Most of it is picked up by the sand cleaners in the summer. I got this piece on February 15 2023 from the beach. Please see pics.
